Features

Forum Ad Management is a free and flexible advertisement module for vB Ad Management, an advertising management engine for vBulletin software.

  • Manage advertisements in all the top forum locations. Place ads with posts, forum lists, thread lists, announcements, feeds, emails and in the archives.
  • Ad revenue sharing and advertisement sharing. Reward your forum contributers and staff with financial incentive and collaborative advertising campaigns.
  • More affiliate management. The affiliate manager will scan posts and outgoing emails for links to turn into a source of revenue.
  • All the features of vB Ad Management extended to your forum. Read up, there's a lot of them.

Forum Ad Management 1.00 Beta is available to all registered RedTyger users from the Forum Ad Management downloads section or from the vBulletin.org release thread for all vBulletin users with a confirmed license.

This is not the latest version of this product and so may no longer be available for download. However, the latest version is not yet a general availability release so you may wish to stay with this version for the time being. You may wish to consider the most recent release within this version branch instead.

BETA: This is not a general availability release, you should only use it if you are comfortable with the possibility of encountering problems. As this is an old version, you should upgrade even if the next version is BETA. Please do not report problems with this release.

Requirements: vBulletin software 3.6 or later and vB Ad Management 5.00 or later.

Installing/Uninstalling

New installation

  1. Ensure the required software has been installed first.
  2. Extract the contents of the download file to your computer.
  3. Upload the file in the product folder via the Product Manager at AdminCP > Plugins & Products > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product].
  4. Upload the contents of the uploads folder to the equivalent location in your forum on your server. The directory structure within the download file is the same as your forum. So includes/vbam_forum_functions goes in your forum's includes directory, etc.
  5. Reload your AdminCP page so that the new Forum Ad Management menu appears at the bottom of your menus.

  6. Done!

Upgrading from a previous version

Do not remove your existing vB Ad Management installation first. Back up your forum before you begin. As this product was originally part of vB Ad Management, you must follow the instructions for upgrading vB Ad Management.

Removing the modification

  1. Uninstall the modification via the Product Manager at AdminCP > Plugins & Products > Manage Products > Forum Ad Management (Dropdown menu).
  2. Delete all installation files from your server.
